Someone I’m following on Twitter posted a link to this video a while back and commented that it was such a bad version, the worst he’d heard.
I have to disagree. While it’s certainly less than polished, this is honestly one of the more beautiful takes I’ve ever heard of this song. It’s hard for me not to get a little choked up at it.

How cool would it have been to be Jimmy Fallon last night?! Paul McCartney was the guest and Jimmy’s about as giddy as I would be if I were in his shoes. So cool.
And singing “Scrambled Eggs” on the show? Bravo.

Today is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon’s death. 30 years ago! Nearly everyone has heard of Lennon and hardly anyone can deny his significant contribution to rock music. I thought I’d share a song in honor of the late John Lennon.
